What is RAW Mind Coach?
RAW Mind Coach is a mindfulness-based e-learning program designed to enhance resilience and equip workers with a range of valuable psychological skills.
How does it work?
RAW Mind Coach includes ten fun interactive learning sessions, available on computer, tablet or smartphone. Learners gain an introduction to mindfulness and discover a range of practical strategies known to protect mental health and build resilience.
A selection of guided mindfulness audio tracks can be downloaded for regular practise. Learners also gain access to an expert-curated library of articles, videos, book recommendations and more.
Who’s it for?
RAW Mind Coach is suitable for any workplace and is currently being used to support workers in some of the world’s most challenging roles. The program may be customised to meet the unique requirements of individual workplaces.
RAW Mind Coach is a self-paced learning program and requires 2.5 hours to complete all ten sessions. Through its guided mindfulness audio tracks, brain food library and newsletter, it also offers the opportunity for ongoing practise, learning and engagement.
What’s the evidence?
A prototype of the program was evaluated via trials with Australian emergency service workers. A pilot study, published by JMIR, showed recipients reported greater levels of resilience after completing the program.
A larger cluster randomised control trial was also conducted and the results of this successful trial are expected to be published in the coming months.

RAW Mind Coach is a self-funded student start-up.
