Catherine has been working as a Researcher at the Black Dog institute for the past five years, where she has focused on youth mental health and specifically schools-based projects. During this time, she also completed her Masters of Clinical Psychology at the University of Newcastle. At Black Dog, Catherine works within a team of researchers on the Smooth Sailing trial, in which they are developing an online service for high school students that is designed to increase help-seeking for mental health and reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety. In the future, she hopes to work in both a research and clinical capacity in the field of child and adolescent mental health.
