Research studies for people with trauma
We are seeking volunteers to help us find better treatments for trauma including treatments for people experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Chief Investigator: Professor Richard Bryant
Although trauma-focused cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is the treatment of choice for PTSD, many patients do not respond to CBT. Therefore it is important that we develop new strategies that lead to better treatment success.
This study will test the relative benefits of CBT alone and CBT aided by brief exercise for those experiencing PTSD.
